I have so much to be thankful for this year. From the launch of my business to the overwhelming support I have received from everyone around me, I wanted to take the time this week to reflect on some of the things I'm grateful for. I feel so blessed that I get to do something I really love and work closely with bold, inspiring women to make a difference in their businesses. This year has been full of more unknowns than I'm usually comfortable with, but I can truly say that it's been so rewarding to see everything unfold in perfect timing.
I'm thankful to be living in a time where society is learning to embrace and celebrate feminism, conscious and purposeful businesses, female entrepreneurship, and women in leadership. Millennials are drastically reshaping the workforce, and I'm excited to participate in shaping the new wave of thoughtful management.
I am so grateful for the clients I've been able to work with so far. For giving me their trust and the amazing opportunity to dive deep into their businesses. I've had so much fun and learned a ton from these women so far, and I am excited to partner with so many more in the coming year.
I'm so thankful for my parents and all the support they've given me, especially this past 6 months. For welcoming me back home with open arms (and a fully stocked refrigerator), and being the best roommates I could ask for as I left my job and started my business. And not only the financial support, but the constant emotional support and excitement about developments in my business. I am so grateful to have parents who celebrate even the tiniest of my wins.
I'm eternally grateful for my bestie and sister, Stacey, for being such a creative inspiration to me and for always helping me in whatever way I need it most-- whether it be business advice, feedback on an idea, content creation, or just a good vent session. I'm lucky to have such a talented and savvy sister by my side.
My rock and teammate, Trey, for being exactly what I need at all times. For reading me so well and supporting me in a way no one else can. Without his patience, stability, and wisdom, I probably wouldn't have gotten to the point of taking the risk to start my own business. You inspire me daily in all areas of my life!
For Global Equity Finance-- I had so many valuable learning experiences that shaped my passions for leadership, people in the workplace, and women in business. I'm so grateful for the CEO, Cornell Hough, who took a chance on me, as a young college student and allowed me to work part-time this past 6 months as I made the transition to entrepreneurship. I am proud to be apart of such an amazing company.
Thank you to Jessica Miranda, my partner in crime in the Gritty Movement. Your knowledge, experience, feedback, and friendship is so valuable to me. I'm excited to be building this thing with you!
I'm grateful for the ongoing support of my close friends. They are the best sounding board when I'm making big decisions, and I know I can count on all of you for honest feedback or just an opportunity to unplug. Thank you for always keeping me balanced and grounded.
God has blessed me so much already this year, and I can't wait to see what else is in store. Thank you all for your continued love and support.
